Kimberly Kendall-Drucker loves calling North Carolina home. Kimberly lives and works in Charlotte as a writer, editor, voiceover artist, professional storyteller, and English Professor. More importantly, Kimberly is a wife, daughter, sister, niece, auntie, cousin, and friend. For Kimberly, family is everything.

Kimberly reads voraciously and enthusiastically. In fact, books were her favorite childhood toy. She is committed to increasing literacy and letting her young audience know –Readers are Leaders!

Kimberly is most inspired by the loves of her life: Grandma Eunice, Grandma Martelia (Mama T), Mommy (Levones), Daddy (Humphrey), her little brother Ishmael, her beloved husband, Larry, and most especially her incredible, incorrigible, intelligent nieces and nephews.

Kimberly’s niece, Lauren Alianna inspired the Holly Celebrates series and is the model for the character. Lauren prefers to use her middle name, Alianna – and all of her days are Ali-Days.Holly Celebrates MLK Day is Book One of the Holly Celebrates Series.

Additionally, Kimberly co-authored The Boy with Ants in His Pants, which she penned with her niece, Courtney Woods.
